Madrid/Barcelona with teen and grandma
I am doing a Globus tour during Holy Week to fulfill my 91 yr old mother's wish to visit Spain, with my 14 yr old son. I have visited Spain before but this will be a challenge, as my mother uses a traveling wheelchair and doesn't do steps too well. We have 3 days in Madrid, the last of which will be a coach and Prado tour in the AM. I plan to buy bullfight tickets for that afternoon. I am hoping to get suggestions for good authentic places to eat near Plaza d'Espana and the Moncloa area. I plan to take them to Reina Sofia and the Thyssen, but does anyone have any other must do suggestions for a 14 yr old? Where should we go near the Prado for a nice Sunday lunch before the bullfight? Also, on Easter I plan to go from Barcelona to Figueres to the Dali museum, which I visited in the 80's because I have always wanted to take my son there. They confirmed they are open on Easter. Any advice on that trip? Thanks!

Well try to see if you can get a reservation into the Dali museum - we took a day tour from Barcelona to Girona and Figueres. When we arrived at the Dali museum there was a long line and we also talked to people that had gone up on the train and then not been able to enter. I'd hate to see you make the effort to go and get closed out.

Thank you for the help. My mother can walk up a few steps, and the recommendation from Localidades Galicia for the bullfight tickets is:
"the lowest roads, for instance, Delantera baja, first , second or third roads.
The prices for these seats are the following:
SHADE:
DELANTERA BAJA: 130,60
ROAD 1: 90,10
ROAD 2: 85,80
ROAD 3. 80,45
SUN AND SHADE
DELANTERA BAJA: 90,72
ROAD 1. 58,00
ROAD 2 54,00
ROAD 3 51,00
Does this make sense, and do the prices seem in line? thanks
