Latin Quarter - Paris Airports

What is the easiest and/or most cost effective way to get from Charles De Gaulle Airport to the Latin Quarter? And than the Latin Quarter to Partis Orly Airport?

The most cost effective way to get from CDG to the Latin Quarter is to take the RER B from Aeroport Charles de Gaulle (Roissy) to the Saint Michel Notre Dame RER station. It will take about 35-50 minutes and the Saint Michel station is in the heart of the Latin Quarter. It will cost about 7,75 EUR for adults. (Taxi costs about 40-50 EUR and the time of travel may vary depending on traffic)

From the Latin Quarter to Orly, take the RER B from Saint Michel Notre Dame (the same station)until Antony and transfer to the Orlyval, which will take you directly to the terminals at Orly. It will take you roughly 30 minutes and cost about 8,75 EUR.

One note on the taxi - When we came in from CDG by cab a couple weeks ago the traffic was very bad and I wondered if the metro would be faster. I'd only do the metro if you are somewhat light on luggage though (a smallish roller). Lots of people in Paris are hauling luggage around, but you don't want to be a pain on the subway. Also depends on how many are in your party. I know nothing about Orly.

The RER is definitely the best and quickest option (although check there is an RER or Metro station near your hotel). But if you're arriving late at night, the stretch of the RER between the airport and the centre of Paris can be a bit dodgy, so take a cab.
