Airport times? - Seville, Spain

HI -
How early do you have to go to the airport in Spain for international flights ( to US). I am looking at a 7:15 am flight and trying to see how early we would have to leave for the airport.

thanks!

You have to be there at least 2 hours before your flight. Seville is not a big airport and it's near to the city (10 km) so I think 2 hours would be enough

are there flights from sevilla to the u.s now?

if you are connecting to madrid/barcelona, then an hour and a half should be plenty.
otherwise, the two hours mentioned is fine.

i would like to be at airport at 6 a.m. for that flight. judge accordingly with taxi. no traffic at that time.

Make sure you check your flight first...I was delayed for five hours at Seville on Thursday. What a nightmare, especially in such a small airport.

UG - 5 hr delay?

We would either be connecting in Madrid or London. If we end up with Madrid - I suppose we could do the train back & forth to Seville. I have to check prices & times.

Yes, you can go to Seville by train, AVE train. But then you will have to deal with the big and crowded Madrid's airport and that is..you will have to be there at least 3 hours for an international flight. So I think it's better idea Seville-Madrid-USA (and do all the passport and costumes in Seville). If you can avoid it don't go to London for connections from Seville, the flights are crowded, as mkingdom said.

Thanks for the Tip - I was really leaning towards London - just to break up the flight time, but if Madrid is a better choice for less crowded flight in October, then I will add that into the equation.

That segment Sevlle-Madrd won't be considered "international" anyway...two hours ahead to the Seville airport should be plenty unless Iberia advises you differently.

No, it's not considered as international but if it is a connecting flight through Madrid , you will do the passport and security thing in Seville for the return, which is quickest than Madrid Two hours is enough, yes.
