Trebbie, duckie, your reply made abosolutely no sense to me whatsoever. When Miss Jizzy or Jessie or whatever stated that EUROPEANS<BR>were responsible for the Holocaust she was implying that everyone, including little old ladies from Lisbon to Latvia were involved in the operation. Anyone with at least a couple of active brain cells knows that it was the work of the NAZIS who were by and large GERMANS. Yes, they lived on the continent of Europe but they were first and foremost KRAUTS. You do not seem to have managed to grasp the concept that EUROPE is a geographical fact, but that it is made up of many different nations and peoples and who think of visiting another country on the European continent as GOING ABROAD. Just to make sure you're entirely clear about this luvvie... IN ITALY THEY SPEAK ITALIAN AND IN BELGUIM THEY DON'T. THE LAWS IN SPAIN ARE DIFFERENT TO THE LAWS IN GREECE. IN THE 30'S GERMANY HAD A NAZI GOVERNEMENT AND IRELAND DIDNT. Has the penny dropped yet Dearie?

Well, Trebbie, a few of them are finally getting the point, albeit very reluctantly.<BR><BR>There has been a trend on this board of late to lay the blame for virtually everything wrong on the planet on America's doorstep. The original post, now deleted, was a reminder that the two greatest wars in the history of mankind were both hatched and played out in the European theatre. I'm sure, given enough time, the Europeans will find a way to revise our history and blame the Yanks for I.& II. as well.<BR><BR>In the meantime rest assured that the Nazi and the Russian Communists were quite European.
