Islands of Berlenga
Trying to decide whether to spend half a day visiting Berlenga in early November. There appear to be several trips to the island and possibly one touring around it by boat. I'd appreciate feedback from anyone who has done this. Even a few hours are precious on a two week trip so I want to be sure our time is well spent.

I don't think the boat trips run in November. The largest vessel running there is the CABO AVELAR PESSOA which finishes on 15 September:

I notice that the boat's website makes mention of the fact that some of the trips are appropriate only for those who are spending the night on the island (at least, I think that's what the Portuguese says....). Are there places to sleep on Berlenga?

The sailings for people staying on the island are at 1030 from the island and at 1730 from the mainland - for obvious reasons, they would be of no use to day trippers.
According to the web site, the restaurant 'Mar e Sol' has six double rooms and there are camping spaces. These would only be open in summer.
I haven't been to the island myself. My only visit to Peniche was in December, and that was years ago.
