how to get from airport to train in frankfurt

I'm flying in to Frankfurt in a couple weeks & I need to get from the airport to the train station. I'm taking the train to Prague. What train station do I want and how do I get there from the airport? thanks

This is very easy to do. Take the S-Bahn (commuter train) at the train station beneath Terminal 1 at Frankfurt Airport. Departs every 15 minutes, 15-20 minute trip time, and the cost is 4 euro. The train will stop a few times along the way to the main train station in central Frankfurt.

As far as I remember, there is a big train terminal AT the airport and most trains will stop there before or after going to the main station. I believe there was a bus shuttle between the airport and that train station. We took the train to Prague straight from there (well, it wasn't to Prague - we had to change in Dresden or somewhere).

Unless I was totally jet lagged and insane, but I don't think so.... that's how I remember it.

The trains go via Dresden or via Nuremberg to Prague. Depending on which route you take, you can go from the railway station in the airport or have to go from the railway station in Frankfurt city. You can?t be sure that the trains stop at both the airport and the station in the city (the railway station in the city is a dead end and so it?s often passed by trains to avoid losing time).

The railway station in the city is Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (shortened Hbf.)

If you want to take a regional train to Frankfurt city from the airport, you have to go to the regional train station while for the long distances a second train station was built (Frankfurt Flughafen Fernbahnhof). If you don?t mind walking for 5 minutes, you can easily reach the train stations in the airport and it?s quite easy to find them by following the directions.
