Hotel recommendations in Positano?

My wife and I will be spending some time visiting the Amalfi Coast this August. We will be staying in Positano for 2-3 days, and doing some day tripping from there. Any hotel recommendations? We are celebrating our anniversary.

Hi

Congratulations. What's your hotel budget (in euro)?

You'll be so surprised by the Best Western Positano, not what you'd expect for this chain. Comfortable rooms with individual terraces with fantastic views. You can walk anywhere in town, or take the 1 euro bus that makes the circle. Nice breakfast, but no other restaurant on site. However, they sent us to a restaurant down the street that we still talk about, incredible and reasonable food.

The Villa Rosa has spectacular view of both mountains and sea from your private terrace where you will be served breakfast; make sure to request a room with a view--I understand that some rooms do not.

My husband and I stayed at the Villa La Tartana. It was reasonably priced, close to the water, very clean and the staff were very nice. I'd go back if we return to Positano.
