Hotel Recs in Positano
Hello,
We are on a budget for our Honeymoon...think under 200 Euro, preferably under 150E. We require A/C and I would love a terrace and a decent view. We have never been to italy and would appreciate any recommendations in Positano.
Thanks!

Positano is very expensive. I think it will be hard to find what you're looking for in that budget, but maybe other posters can help. In the meantime, look for Ira's trip report on Praino, a small town only a few minutes by car or bus from Positano. As I remember, the hotel he stayed at and recommends is quite reasonable.
Good luck!

Take a look at Hotel California:

I have recommended it here before, and I think it fits you preferences. Be sure to ask for a room with a balcony, not a room that opens onto the terrace.

My wife and I spent our first anniversary in Positano last September. We stayed at Hotel Villa la Tartana. It's a nice and bright Bed & Breakfast, close to the beach. My mother in-law discovered the place from this site, and I believe there are quite a few postings you could search for additional recommendations. We would stay there again.
Their rate for a double in high season is 150E.

I am leaving for Positano this Friday (honeymoon!) and will be spending 3 nights at the Villa Rosa for 140 euros/night. Double bed, terrace, ac. The website is www.villarosapositano.com

We stayed at Villa Rosa and loved it. We had a great large room with terrace. best value we experienced in Italy. Breakfast tray brought to your room. I don't recall about AC. We were there early May. I recommend taking the ferry to Amalfi for the day and then bus up to Ravello.

We read wonderful reviews on Villa La Tartana and have a room booked for our honeymoon in September...read about it on tripadvisor.com. It sounded great to us and affordable! Most rooms have water view and small terrace with Continental Breakfast searved in the room if you want!
