Hotel recommendations fo Santorini & Mykonos

We are 3 friends who will be spending a couple of weeks in Greece in Sept. with side trips to Santorini & Mykonos. Could you recommend some hotels for both Mykonos & Santorini. We are looking to spend around $200 (or less) per night. We will primarily be sightseeing and photographing. Not particularly interested in the night life. Also don't need a pool.

Thanks for your help

On Santorini Oia is a photographer's dream, as confirmed by the sheer mass of photos in generic Greek travel brochures, posters and calendars for Greece, the seeming majority of which are shot on Santorini and in Oia in particular.

Check Volcano's Villas, Villa Ilias, Scirocco Apartments, Blue Dolphins Apartments, Delfini Hotel (NOT to be confused with Delfini 1), Hotel Kavalari and Nomikos Villas.

Brotherleelove,
Thank you for your response. Is the Delfini Hotel the same as Delfini Villas? I emailed them and they confirmed that they have availability for the dates we will be travelling, I just wanted to make sure it was the correct hotel. Thank you for your help.

Yes, this is the same place. They just have multiple names to catch as many internet searches as possible from people using different search 'keywords'.

Brotherleelove,

Sorry -- but 1 more question -- which would you recommend: Volcano Villas or Delfini Villas? Thanks so much for taking the time to help with this.

They're both good. I think I'd choose Delfini because it's smaller, older, has a more traditonal feel and is more centrally located.
