hotel in Parma ?

We are considering staying in Parma our first night in Italy after a long flight into Malpensa. It sounds like an interesting destination for one night before we go on to C.T. Can you recommend a nice hotel for less than 200 Euro ?

Check Hotel Maria Luigia or hotel Du Parc. Both are central.

We stayed at the Star Hotel DuParc last year. Nice--across the street from a grocery store. Rates are 117 euros on the
web for October.
Breakfast is good, but dinner is rather over priced.

any updates on hotels in Parma? I'm looking for next May. Would need a triple room and want to spend no more than E200/night.

Thanks,

If you're looking for something cheaper than those hotels above, try Hotel Torino or Hotel Brenta.

We were in Parma in June and stayed at the Palace Maria Luigia and it was wonderful. It also serves an American style breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon etc. Our 3 young boys enjoyed it as they were tired of the "continental" breakfasts we have been given up to that point. It is a beautiful hotel.Good luck.
