Hertz rental car return at CDG Terminal 1?

Hertz rental car return at CDG Terminal 1?
I have returned a car to Hertz at Terminal 2 a couple times, but we are flying United out of Terminal 1 on Thursday. Is it possible to return the car to Terminal 1?
If it is, would it be feasible for my husband to drop me and our bags off at the curb and then go return the car himself? As usual, I have purchased waaaaaaaay too much in France so it would be nice to not have to lug our bags all the way from the rental return.
