Help! What is the best transportation from Frankfurt to Venice?

Hi!
We're a family of 4. What is the best transportation from Frankfurt to Venice? Ideal time to reach Venice would be noon.

Help please!

If you must be in the city center of Venice at noon and if you don't take a overnight train, there is only one possibility:

Lufthansa flight Frankfurt dp 8.30 - Venice airport ar 9.45. Fares start around 300 EUR/pax.

Yes there is an overnight train possibility -leave Frankfurt main station about 8pm get to Venice about 9am next day - change of trains in Munich to real night train- www.bahn.de/en for booking and schedules. For lots on trains and overnight trains check www.seat61.com; www.ricksteves.com and www.budgeteuropetravel.com.

You could get a nice private compartment on that night train from Munich for 4- and kids may especially think it so special! www.bahn.de for booking your own tickets.
