I've been unsuccessfully trying to find a moderately priced hotel in Brussels for early December (despite everyone's best efforts - I do appreciate it though). However, I found a website called www.allbrusselshotels.net. Has anyone used this site? They have some phenomenal deals. Can anyone recommend Floris Grand Place Hotel Brussels or the Royal Windsor Hotel Brussels - are they nice?

Royal Windsor is supposed to be quite a nice hotel. What price are you able to get it for? I stayed there in 2002 for a night rather cheaply.

m_kingdom hates this hotel though, as far as I can remember. Not up to his/her usual standards.

But I say if the price is right, go for it.

By the way, nice doesn't mean charming. Royal Windsor is not a charming hotel.

I'm not looking for charming anymore (those are booked up). Now I am looking for clean, safe, and in a good location. How do the two above do in those categories?

Oh, Royal Windsor more than fits the bill. It's about as central as you can get, and it's a 4-star, I think?

You'll be literally steps away from Grand'Place and from Central Station.
