I can't comment on the 'commentary' of any of the tours, but this one has the best coverage of the city in terms of routes/stops:

How about tours to Giverny? How much time shold one allow?
If you are taking the tour with Cityrama, I would suggest that you linger in the garden a bit after the tour guide tells you about it. At your leisure, walk through the house. They give you ample time to stroll the gardens and take photos. I kept trying for the "ultimate" photo and found that my time was cut short due to my obsession! Others who were less "focused" (pun intended) lingered in the house viewing the art longer in than I did. My tour happened to be on a rainy (heavy sprinkles) day and it was still worth the visit.
As part of my insane march to keep myself awake, I went on this tour the day we arrived in Paris and found that I needed a snack prior to the return. You might put a few nibbles in your bag. I only remember someone selling honey being staked out by where the tour bus picked us up. Oh, and the honey was great!
