Granada/Seville Hotels w/Convenient Parking
Thanks to everyone who's provided input to my itinerary already... I've pretty much planned out our trip, but have 2 last hotels to book. Due to trying to meet some relatives at various points, they're pretty short stays. We'll have a rental car, so need some sort of convenient (and reasonably price) parking. We're walkers, so doesn't have to be right next to any of the attractions. Thanks in advance!
Granada - just a 1 night stay. We'll be driving down from Toledo and arriving late in the afternoon. Would love a hotel within walking distance (with a mile or even a bit more is fine) of Alhambra (we have early the next afternoon tickets). We'll be leaving after visiting Alhambra and heading closer to the coast for 3 nights.
Seville - a two night stay. We'll be arriving in the morning and staying two nights. Plan on parking the car and not picking it up until we leave for our next stop (Madrid), so something reasonably close to the sights.
Any other recommendations (food, drink, attractions) in these areas would always be appreciated. Thanks again!

In Granda we stayed at the Alhambra Palace, almost immediately adjacent to the Alhambra and they had plenty of parking. And I recall the rates as being surprisingly modest, esp since we arrived at 8 pm and they ended up giving us a suite.

Thanks for the input... will definitely take a look.
KJA - I've used that on Tripadvisor, but many are parking complaints! Will keep digging. Thanks for the previous recommendation on Alhama de Granada. It seems to be exactly what we were looking for.

We did a similar trip and stayed at the Hotel Macia Plaza in Granada - on the Plaza Nuevo at the bottom of the hill below the Alhambra. Very nice walk up to it. Parking was included, the garage was about a block and a half from the hotel.
In Seville, we stayed at the Dona Maria Hotel which is just off the square right next to the Seville Cathedral and a block or so from the Alcazar. Great location with plenty of restaurants right around the corner. We parked a few blocks away in a city parking garage but I think they have parking on site.
Would highly recommend both hotels. Only caveat for the Macia Plaza is that driving to it was a challenge until we figured out that, what we thought was a walking alley was actually the 'road' to get to the main road the hotel was on...

IME, Tripadvisor and booking.com use very different search mechanisms. That's why I specifically urged you to use booking.com -- and of course, follow up with anything you find by looking at the web sites of any properties that seem of interest and/or contacting the property directly!

In Granada, I suggest Hotel Guadalupe, minutes from Alhambra, with discounted rate in official Alhambra parking.

For Seville, the trouble is most hotels in the centre don't have their own parking but have an arrangement with nearby commercial underground parking for discounted rate (typically 15-20€ per night). Those with own parking tend to be out of the centre, unless you go for a 5-star place like Hotel Alfonso XIII. http://www.hotel-alfonsoxiii-seville.com/ (parking at 22€).

Another vote for Hotel Guadeloupe in Granada. It's right at the main entrance gates with easy in/out drop off of luggage at the hotel. We paid 15E per day parking with their discount. Hotel is nice and reasonably priced.
In Seville we had an apartment but they had reserved us a spot in this parking lot - Aparcamiento Paseo de Colón - Parking. I recall it was about 15E/day but our apartment did have a discount.
Here is its position in Seville - as you can see there are two other parking lots right by it - we were staying on the far other side of Santa Cruz so it was about a 15 minute (flat) walk but there are many hotels that are closer and in a great location to see Seville

In Seville, Eurostar Regina has parking. We have stayed twice, it is about a 20 minute walk to the Cathedral.
