Found it and booked it! All roads lead to Rome!
Yay! Thanks for all the good advice. I have been checking and posting for months looking for that decent June fare to Italy. Found it! Aerlingus is having a sale to Dublin so I called them and asked if I could get in on that with a continuation on to Rome. No problemo! New York to Rome in June - $771. Less than last year and equal to the year before (only no death march through Charles deGaulle!). Yipppeeeeee.....We're going to Italy, baby! Ooops. Better call my husband!
