Florence Change of Itinerary - in a Bind HELP
Wife, I and 23 yr daughter booked a trip with the following itinerary: LEAVING JUNE 18th: Venice 2 nights, Florence 3 nights, Positano 3 nights and Rome 4 nights. My son is studying abroad in Rome and he JUST advised us that his free weekend was changed to when we would be in Positano.
We now have eliminated the Positano portion (oh well) next time. We have added 1 day to Venice staying at SUITES TORRE DELL OROLOGIO, Florence at Hotel Tornabuoni Beacci and Hotel DEl Corso in Rome.
PROBLEM we are not able to add one night to the Hotel Tornabuoni Beacci in Florence. Any suggestions to where we can find a good hotel that has a triple for one night or we can stay at a different hotel for the 3 nights. We would like a 4 star or possible 3 star hotel.
Thanks everyone for your input.

We loved Antica Torre Tornabuoni (www.tornabuoni1.com). Room 503 has a terrace with fabulous views. The location is terrific and breakfast on the roof terrace sensational.

Hi Don
A suggestion here, you may want to check out this website from sleep in italy - they have a number of B&B's that might work for you. I've used them several times and recommend them often. Could be a wise thing if you're in a pinch to call them directly. Also the site can give you names of the B&B?s if you wish to do a search to get direct websites and book this way.

A couple years ago I stayed at the Relais Cavalcanti from the SII site. It was a very good location.
Most recently though, this month, I stayed at the Tourist House Ghiberti which I loved! I know they book up quickly but here is there info if you'd like to try. I did book through THG directly on this one.
