CDG airport to Gare d'Austerlitz

What are my options for getting to Gare d'Austerlitz from CDG.
My flight 'should' get in about 3-4 PM.
Any idea of how long it takes to get to the train station & what the price would be?

RER B to St-Michel Notre-Dame, then RER C to Gare d'Austerlitz. Either just under or just over an hour, depending upon how long you need to wait when transferring at St-Michel Notre-Dame. Cost: 8.10 EUR

Air France coach #4 to Gare de Lyon. Cost: 14 EUR. About an hour. Walk across the Seine to Gare d'Austerlitz. Or take a bus directly between the stations for 1.40 EUR.

At the RATP site mentioned by ira you can download and print a Metro/RER map for central Paris and a RER map that shows service to outlying zones, including CDG.

Actually, those maps are in a slightly obscure location. To save you some hunting: http://www.ratp.info/orienter/tous_plans_pdf.php

Well, at this point, I think the RER is not a good thing for us, as we'll just have done two flights & a 4 hour drive to get to the first airport and--we are in our mid 70's.
So, I think the Air France bus is looking good to Gare de Lyon & then could we get a cab to Gare d'Austerlitz?
Where at CDG do we get the Air France bus#4? Does it stop at all the terminals?
Or, I guess we could just cab it to the train station & try to forget the money issue.

Once you've ruled out the RER @ 16.40€ for two, the money isn't such a big deal. Two AF bus tickets would be 28€, and when you account for the cost of getting across the river from GdL to GdA, the cab all the way from the airport will only be about 10€ more.

Oh thank you Robespierre for your reply. How long do you think a cab would take to get to GdA And, do we just get in a line for a cab/is there usualy a long wait for the cab?

As Robespierre says, you might be just as well off taking a taxi all way if you're not going to take the RER. However, since you asked, yes, the Air France coaches stop at all the terminals. Go to this helpful site: www.easycdg.com. Click on "Airport Access" and then on "Air France Coaches."
