Getting to CDG directly or through Gare du Lyon
Looking at a couple of options to get from Vichy to CDG for our flight home the next day - have a hotel for the last night near CDG so plenty of time to get there
1. Take RR from Vichy to Lyon Part Dieu station and then TGV to CDG - 115E PREM for 2 - most direct!!
2, Take Vichy to Gare du Lyon for 34E for 2 and then figure out how to get to CDG - looks like we have to get to Gare du Nord to catch RER - another 18E or so but still cheaper but more hassle maybe
any suggestions on the Gare du Lyon to Gare du Nord or how else to get to CDG will be appreciated - Merci Dale

AF bus line 4 costs 16,50 from Gare de Lyon to CDG. http://www.aeroportsdeparis.fr/ADP/e...air-france.htm
I would take the cheaper train to Gare de Lyon and spend the final night in Paris.

The Air France bus from Gare de Lyon to CDG is a good "hassle-free" choice because it is direct and the driver puts your bags in the luggage bay.
The fare on the RER is €8.50. Take the RER D from Gare de Lyon to Gare du Nord and the RER B from there to either CDG 1 or CDG 2 TGV. Be aware that the RER B line divides northeast of Paris so be sure to get on a train that is going to CDG.
