Carte Orange Pictures CDG
Is there a photo booth at CDG for taking the necessary pics for the Carte Orange? Any directive towards a photo booth or booth to purchase the Carte Orange itself are appreciated. We are arriving in on American from O'Hare, if that makes a difference in regards to terminals, etc.
Thanks!!

As cigalechanta suggested, just cut out a photo from home - those photo stations are sometimes out of order and it's so much easier anyway.
It doesn't matter which terminal you arrive at - you'll get your carte orange card at the airport RER station at a manned ticketed booth (not the ticket machines).
You'll ask for a one-way ticket to central Paris and the carte orange card (1 week?) just for Zone 1 , as I'm assuming you'll be staying and spending all your time in Zone 1.

They'll look at you funny if you ask for a Zone 1 card, because no such thing exists.
You want a Carte Orange deux (2) zones.
I trust you are aware that a Carte Orange is valid for 7 days starting on a Monday, and is on sale from the preceding Friday to Wednesday.
And if you're smart, you'll buy a ticket from CDG to La Plaine Stade de France, which costs less than all the way into the city. Your pass covers the rest of the trip.

I don't really know if they have a photo booth there or not, but it is true that they can be out of order in many places. If you don't have one (or an extra passport photo), just go to one of those cheapo photo booths in a mall where you live or something
A minor correction on the above suggestion -- you can't buy a carte orange ticket just for zone 1. You have to buy one for zones 1-2.

Yes, there is a photo machine but I woudl estimate that it has been out of order at least 50% of the times I have been through there. As others have suggested, just take a passport size photo with you.

Best bet is to bring extra passport photos - you should have an extra set in case you lose or are relieved of your passport, anyway.
Or, as someone else suggested, all you need is a 1" x 1" photo, which you can easily produce with a digital camera and your PC printer.

ebiddix,
We usually arrive on a Saturday, and as Robespierre mentioned, the Carte Orange begins on Monday. We purchase Mobilis passes for Saturday & Sunday, which work like a Carte Orange, except that you don't need a picture for them, and they are only good for a day.
