Campo de Fiori or Hotel Primavera or Residenza Zanardelli or?

Campo de Fiori has reservations for the time i need, at 140 euros a night, but someone else recommended Hotel Primavera, and I'm interested in Residenza Zanardelli, but they don't begin booking for another month. I would like to stay in this price range, any suggestions or thoughts on these hotels or others?I've done numerous searches on the hotels, but it's difficult to find stuff on the Campo because of the same name as the market nearby.

Hi Pam. This past April we stayed at the Hotel Primavera for four nights and really enjoyed it. We thought it was a great value (we had a nice room with a double bed, a shared bath, and a view of the dome of St. Andrea della Valle for about 95 euros), loved the building it was in (it has one of those cool old metal "cage" elevators) and the superb location, and thought the family who runs it was very nice.

As long as you don't expect luxury, I couldn't recommend it enough based on our experience.

We stayed at Hotel Campo del Fiori two years ago and while it was fine, I wouldn't pay that price. Although maybe they've renovated like crazy...But our room was on the small side, no a/c. On the plus side, the staff was great, had an elevator, and a lovely patio with tables and chairs...

I don't know what Hotel Campo de Fiori the previous poster stayed in but the one I know certainly did not have an elevator. And if you have a room on the 6th floor, watch out!

I just stayed in the Santa Chiara, just behind the Pantheon, and it was wonderful. And a better location by a bit than the Camp or the Zanardelli.

Anyone ever stay at the Pensione Erderelli near Spanish Steps?
