Bergen Norway

We will be in Bergen for only 1 night the end of June. I am looking for lodging suggestions that will be in the Bryggen historic district or on the water. This is our last stop of spending 5 days in the fjords. I'd like to find something in the $200 range.

We stayed at the First hotel Marin. It has rooms overlooking Bryggen, which you pay extra for. We did, and had a lovely spacious room, with a view of the water.

the First Hotel Marin is sold out on our dates. Bruggen is the area where we want to locate, and hopefully on the water. Any other suggestions?
thank.

We stayed several days at the Clarion Collection Hotel Havnekontoret, both in the Bryggen and waterfront. Very nice and well located.

Friends stayed at hanseatiske (spelling?), which they really liked. There is also a Radisson Blu which has a good reputation.
The Scandic Strand is by the fish market.

I've stayed at the Clarion Havnekontoret and loved it. Great location. Might be a bit over your price range but with a great breakfast buffet and free supper ( check their website) it really is reasonably priced.
