Beach along The Seine in Paris

I appears to be quite warm in Paris today.
Anyone have photos of the beach along The Seine?

Is it not only a beach along the Seine during the annual August vacation period when the busy road that runs along it is not needed due to the lemming-like evacuation of the city by many residents?

kerouac, a Parisian who posts here often has I believe done a photo shoot of the beach (as well as countless other riveting superbly done photos of Paris thins).

Official Paris site says it stars yearly around July 20 - so may have started I guess but this weekend would make more sense.

Frankly, I prefer the Paris Plages area along the Bassin de la Villette in the 19th arrondissement. The section along the Seine is too narrow and too crowded for my taste, although I will admit that I have not checked out what they are doing in the Les Berges section.

Well, here is an old Paris Plages report showing both areas: http://anyportinastorm.proboards.com...is-plages-2011
