You can look at them here:

http://www.pbase.com/jayscarpa/

It was my first trip to Paris so a lot of touristy pictures. Still, it is Paris

Bailey: I had high expectaions and Paris exceeded them all. Three things, hmm

1. Being able to stop almost anywhere and have a cafe au lait or a drink and people watch, relax, live.

2. The views. I can not pick a favorite though.

3. The atmosphere. That is generic but everything just felt different, better.

I can not wait to go back

JJ...thanks for a mini get-a-way here at my desk. You look like you were having a good time! I love the one of the Eiffel sparkling. Your pix remind me of mine...not perfect but exactly what I saw

JJS2006,
Thanks so much for sharing your photos! I felt like I was walking right along with you on the walk from the Louvre to the Arch de Triomphe.

gomiki: If I want to see great photos I look at the photos by Francis Toussaint over at Pbase; mine are more memories than photos

laurenzo: Have a great time, it will be hard not to!

Thanks for the pictures. It was like being there. How did you like Hotel Monge? We will be back there in 12 days. We love the Arenes as well. Did you get to the tiny cafe across the street?

robjame: The hotel was great - really clean and the room was perfect. They should probably charge more! Julie is so nice. They're going to get wireless connections some time this month or next if I understood her correctly.

I think I hit every store in a 5 block radius of the hotel. Are you talking about that little Pub Lutece? Great place to relax with locals. In fact I could count on one hand the number of americans I encounterd in that neighborhood.

Have a great trip
