BBC Proms programme now out
Booking opens 4 May. If you're in London between 16 July and 11 September, it's worth a visit (but First and Last Night tickets are hard to come by):

If you're not coming to London, I think I'm correct in saying you can listen to all concerts live on the internet at the time of broadcast. There's an recording available of each programme on the net for the next week, but since TV recordings are only available in the UK, I assume the same is true for radio. Maybe those with experience would like to comment.

Radio broadcasts tend to be available worldwide but, like for UK stuff, for only a week afterwards

If it's broadcasted on BBC3 Radio, then we can listen it online anywhere in the world without any problems. Some BBC3 radio programmes are available on iPlayer for 7 days after the broadcast as well, which means one can listen to it online anytime anywhere over the following 7 days.
Here's a blog post that lists the *highlights*

I made a trip to London once just to hear Martha Argerich play at the Proms a couple years ago. I wish they'd put out the program earlier. One really nice thing about the Proms is that there isn't much performing arts in August in most cities, nor music festivals.

For those of you (myself included) who aren't lucky enough to have a ticket for the Proms, you can listen to all the Proms concerts via BBC's iPlayer for free. Every concert is available for 7 days from the time of initial broadcast.
