2 for 1 Offers Days Out Guide
I read about them in a couple of threads here but I cannot figure out how to get the 2 for 1 coupons from the http://www.daysout.co.uk/
Do I have to buy a subscription? I clicked on FREE DAYS OUT NEWSLETTER, gave my name and e-mail....but what now? The e-mail I received from them was a request to subscribe to the 09/08 Days Out????? We will be there in June. Thanks you.

OK, I see what the problem is; there are two different sites with similar names. The one I listed above appears to me to be only for UK residents but the following site with a slightly different name just requires an e-mail and not a UK address:
http://www.daysoutguide.co.uk/
Note the slight difference in addresses.

Capital Transit - never heard of it
if you are talking about train tickets then single tickets are valid for the offers only on the date of the ticket whereas return tickets (note NOT 2 single tickets) are valid between the out & return dates.
BUT as a tourist you'd probably be buying a PAPER travelcard anyway so the point is moot
