UK Pen Pals

Does anyone know of any websites out there that would allow me to set up a pen pal relationship with someone in the UK? I will be traveling over there next year and would hope to have a friendly face if needed.

Your local elementary school teachers may lead you in the right direction.There is a program that fifth graders start;perhaps the school-age program info will lead you to adult program.Just a thought...

I was curious and just did a Google search for ' UK penpal list' . Several pages came up..I will leave it for you to explore all the options there.

Why pen-pal? Why not just chat with someone online? There are a lot of chat rooms out there.

Why not hook up with someone here? There's a number of regular Fodorites in the UK who meet up with visiting Fodorites from time to time.
