Baby Milk
I have recently got a new job in Germany and will be moving early February and my wife and newborn child will be following after a few weeks.
What I wanted to know is what is the best brand of baby milk available in Germany?
Is Aptawelt any good and how have your babies reacted to it?

This is the company my colleagues told me about: https://www.aptawelt.de/
I would really appreciate some help as this is a stressful time relocating and with the lack of sleep of a newborn I'm so tired

Hi StCirq - I will have to get it set up when I go over there. They have provided me with apartment etc but I would need to get rest sorted out.
Thanks Melnq8 - It was a toss up between Aptawelt and Hipp and my colleagues friends used Aptawelt. In the UK we are using Cow and Gate but noticed it's not available in Germany.

Hi
Sleep and follow StCirq advice. Take some of your milk for a stock and go to a doctor. A paediatric one.
Not all kids like or digest all milks.
Then switch over to the new milk.
You may even mix the old and new if the child is picky.
But no need to worry there are children in Germany and they are fed
No stress needed here.

Hi,
there are also good formulas in Germany. For example I always get the Hipp German Organic Formula what should be also available in Germany I guess. Normally when I'm not sure I just order enough in advance.
You can always call the distributor to give you the information who sells the formula you're normally using.
What formula are you normally giving to your baby? You can also try to find a similar one when your baby is already used to it!
Good luck moving and have a good time in Germany!

Milupa is made by the same company as Cow and Gate, so may well have the same formula. Take a few packs of Cow and Gate with you and gradually introduce whatever formula you switch to. If all else fail you could look for British food shops in Germany or online at somewhere like https://boxfromuk.co.uk/.
Good luck with your move.

Hi,
I just heard earlier today that the European formulas have a very good quality. This is where I always get the formula from maybe you can also get some information from this site. I made very good experiences with the customer service!
You can also go to the expat forum where people who are already living in Germany might be able to help you.
Tell us how it is over there!

Hi Dhiren,I think in Germany there are some very good brands availaible. You have to find one your baby is going to drink I've been living in Germany when I had my first child and we moved back here when I was pregnant with my second one. In Germany we did use hipp and so I was looking for hipp here. We finally did order from https://myorganicformula.com/collect...rganic-formula.You give it a try. But don't forget every baby is different!Happy Easter
