I've enjoyed your trip reports from Germany. We are planning a trip for next May and I wanted to ask you some questions specifically about the Berchtesgaden area. Would you mind if I emailed you or you could email me since they might be quite extensive?

Hi, Gina. NOt to hijack your thread, but lots of people here have been to Berchtesgaden and many others may be planning a trip. So if you ask your questions on Fodor's, others could benefit.

That's fine - but I asked for her specifically since she had mentioned a vacation apartment there. If I knew how to get in touch with her otherwise, I would have done so without using the site.
Do you have any suggestions for accomodations in that area?

If you are looking for a specific vacation apartment, I understand. However, somebody else might also be interested. That was the only point I was trying to make.
We stayed at the Hotel Wittelsbach while we were there.

We loved it. The owner, Petra Wimmer, was so nice and spoke very good English as did her other front desk staff.
They have a lovely breakfast room and the buffet breakfast was large and varied. They also have an elevator and parking behind the hotel. There is also a laundry next door to the hotel which is very convenient. The location is great.
We had a small suite which we paid 84E for.

swisschocolate, if I were trying to get in touch with tcreath, I'd try leaving a comment at the end of her Germany trip report. That way, it will come up on top when she clicks her own name. Many days, that's my only activity on Fodors (I often don't check the current threads on the left column. In fact one time there was a thread paging me and I only found it by accident.)
