Anyone been to the Lalique studio/factory?

I`m fascinated by crystal/glass and would love to visit the Lalique studios.
Maybe even get a bargain (if such a thing is remotely possible with such a lovely product)
Where is it? Possible to get to on public transport from Paris?
Or is there a shop in Paris that has a large range on show?

I can not help, but I understand you very well!
Three years ago, when we were in Paris in May, were so lucky to see a Lalique exibition in Luxemburg Gardens. So beautiful things!
I hope you can visit the studios and enjoy.

I Googled and found that the factory is still at Wingen-sur-Moder, north of Strasbourg. I also saw a reference to a museum opening there to display the glass in 2010. I and my glass artist wife would like to see it too, so let us know what you find.

I have never heard the words Lalique and bargain used in the same sentence, however.

there is a Lalique shop in Paris. Of course no bargains but then owning a piece of it is worth whatever you can afford.I have 2 small pieces bought there that I treasure. There is a train to Strasbourg -not sure how you get to the factory from the main station but there is a Lalique shop there.

I have sent an email to the factory inquiring about the date they expect to open,I`ve had no reply as yet.It reads like it will be a wonderful thing to visit when it does eventually open.I know that bargain & Lalique is probably mutually exclusive, but one can dream!Of course I`ll get to the shop in Paris, but there is something really appealing about going to the factory.
