Any WEST COASTERS bought their tickets for travel next May or June Yet??

I'm still shopping for 2 tickets from San Francisco into Venice May 8 and leaving Athens June 6 back to SFO. So far the best fare is $1,100.

I've been using kayak.com and expedia.com.

Drag out your crystal balls and let me know if this fare will go down !!

Thanks

I'de grab it. I'm paying the same for RT to Nice from SFO. Going Iberia via Madrid. Delta is $1,700 or so.

I just paid $1,080 apiece a couple weeks ago for two tickets SFO-Rome, returning from Naples, on www.faremax.com. I kept watch on several websites, including kayak.com, flycheapabroad.com, etc. for about two months and that was the best price I could find (by $150). When it started to creep up, I pulled the trigger and bought them. I'm betting it's not going to be a good year for airfare bargains to Europe next spring/summer.

As I posted last week, I found a flight from LAX to LHR for $460 including taxes on Air New Zealand for May 2-11. We're actually flying from SFO and going to Italy, but even with the additional flights, it comes to $300 less a person than I had been seeing. And it's no less stops as all flights I had seen had 2 stops anyways. Good luck!
