Alta Via #1 - getting luggage from Dobbiaco to Belluno

I am planning to hike the alta via 1 in Northern Italy this summer. I am not joining a tour, just doing it on my own. However, I have stops before and after the hike, for which I will need more than I what I can carry in a backpack. Hence my question - does anyone have any idea how I might get a piece of luggage moved (and stored ) to Belluno from Dobbiaco?

What is the rest of your itinerary? Perhaps you can store your luggage at a train station and retrieve it after your hike. Trenitalia used to have a DHL link for people interested in transporting luggage so check DHL's website. Now Trenitalia uses TNT, but it's only offered on the fast trains. You also might be able to arrange with one of the hiking tours to transport it.
