3 Nights Paris, what hotel should we stay in?
Hi, we have 3 nights in Paris, first time. Just my husband and myself.
I have pre booked Hotel D'Aubusson http://www.hoteldaubusson.com/en/ but want to make sure this is in the best place. Has anyone stayed there? Do you think we are in a good 'first timer' area?
It's the last stop after a four and a half week holiday and we want to finish on a high. Also hubby is turning 50 while we are there. Any suggestions what we should do for that while your giving me advice?
Thanks in advance

kcnewby,
Never stayed there as it's a bit outside my budget but it certainly looks very nice - i particularly like the patio/terrace - and the area is fine. you should be able to walk to most places you'll want to be or get there easily on the Metro or RER. the musee d'orsay [impressionist paintings] is nearby, and the Rodin and louvre aren't much further away - ditto Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower. you'll have a huge range of restaurants to pick from too, just outside your front door.
have a great trip!

Wow, that hotel looks awesome. Good job finding it! That area is where I would like to stay, next time I can get to Paris. It looks like the perfect Parisian experience.
Will you please report back on your trip?
