New England Cruise Which line?
The 2 cruises I have found which itenaries I want departing from NY City-Newport, Boston, Bar Harbor, St. John, Halifax are Caribbean Princess(Brooklyn port) and Norwegian Dawn(Manhattan port). Which would be preferable as far as the ships and food? I have looked at cruise critic-no info for Caribbean Princess for New England
and some ports different for the Dawn cruise.
Not much difference in the prices.
Just want personal choices and advice.
I looked for one on a Celebrity ship, but don't find one for New England.

Thank you Angelo for offering your help. I have a good friend who sailed the Maadam for the New England-Canada trip last Sept. She was very pleased.
The main reason I will probably not consider this one is I want direct flights rather than having to fly back from Canada or connecting to embark.
My adult son who is 40 will be with me on this trip. My friend mentioned the Madaam did not have people of this age group on the trip. Probably the others I am considering won't wither, but more likely.
From where I livein N. Myrtle beach there is a direct flight to NY City.

Hi Maryanne - to answer your first question - Princess is a better line as far as food and the ship. I personally don't care for NCL along with a lot of other frequent cruisers. Also, that particular cruise isn't usually a big itinerary for the younger passengers so I don't think the line you choose would matter in that regard. Canada/New England is also one of my very favourite cruises and I have had over 50 cruises now with wonderful destinations but that still remains my favourite. I didn't notice when you wanted to travel but Queen Mary 2 does that itinerary on Oct 2. Enjoy which ever one you choose!
