Mediterranean Cruise

My In- laws want to go on a
Mediterranean Cruise. They want to go to Sicily as part of the cruise. I have seen some cruises of italy and the Greek isles but did not include Sicily. Any suggestions for this?
Thanks

Lots of cruises stop in Sicily - look for Taormina, Messina, in addition to the above.

We were on HAL and stopped in Trapani. While Trapani is probably not typical of all of Sicily, I did see many cruises that did stop in various Sicilian ports. Try a private travel agent for help.

Thanks to all your help I found some cruises with Sicily and the Greek Isles but not with Naples included. They want to also visit Naples.
Thanks

If you go to cruise.com and do the advanced search - for example I found the Noordam includes Palermo and Naples in their itinerary on their 10 day cruises. Also I see that MSC (I have never sailed with them so can't offer any comment on their service etc) has several sailings that include both ports. When are your in-laws wanting to go?

June would be very hot in Sicily and Naples. We just came back (mid-October) and we thought it was warm. Sorrento was certainly warm 80F). I guess the temerature can really get up there in June July and August. It would also be busy with summer holidays.

if any of you are thinking of a Gulet cruise. This is a Turkisk 4-12 cabin wooden sailer with inboard diesel.
they leave from Turkish coast-very intimate as opposed to giant cruisers.
Marmaris,Turkey is a great start point with the greek isle of Rhoades 1hr ferry away-HOWEVER-DO NOT USE TUM TOUR GULET CO.
They are very misrepresentitive about what they provide and what they charge DOUBLE for.Their" come on" leads you to believe many things on the itinery come with the paid price-BUT- then they over charge extra for what appears to be part of the trip.A great potential trip but dbl. ck.

They want Italy and Greece. Athens, Venice, Rome, Naples and or Sicily are the main cities for them. Princess cruises has those stops. Any other major cruise lines?
Thanks

I believe there are lots of cruise ships that make calls to those ports, especially more European specific cruise lines (Louis, Oceania) as well as Azamara and Celebrity. What you ahve named are relatively popular destinations.
