Main stage shows on the Getaway
I know NCL is open seating free style but we prefer to know when we are eating and want to reserve in the main dining rooms. We do like to follow dinner with the main stage show so does anyone know what time the show is?
Thanks!

There are several "main stage" shows on Getaway. It's not a single show any longer. You can reserve them all, so look at the times and plan dinners around the show(s) you want to see. One option is a magic-oriented dinner show, so dinner is included, but it has a cover charge.

I reserved some shows but I was wondering about shows by their own troupe like on other cruise lines which usually have two per evening, one after every fixed meal. Do you know if NCL has something similar. I did reserve our dinners for 1830. Do you know if NCl has stage shows like the other lines?
Thank you.
Thank you.

They actually don't do a traditional "show" anymore on Getaway and Breakaway. On Getaway, you have a dinner show (the magic show, with a cover), Burn the Floor (a Latin dance show done I believe as both a dinner show and a fullshow ... so it's the Broadway version at least once), Legally Blonde (the Broadway musical), and the Grammy Experience (a more traditional music show but done I believe in a smaller venue). There's also a comedy club. They do several performances per evening, and I'm not sure how it works, but I don't think every single show operates every night, so in that respect it's not unlike regular cruise ship entertainment, but it's definitely not a resident company. Each show has its own resident entertainers.
