Lobster tails over rated

Have you noticed how many people rave about the lobster tails on board ships when talking about the ship's food. Me, I just don't think lobster is a that good. The most over rated food in the world. What are your thoughts?

Lobster isn't overrated, it's the lobster served on cruise ships that's overrated!

That's because they have never had a real N.E. lobster!!!! The tails I've had are usually dried out and tough..

That's true...I have not had a chance to eat N.E. lobster which I've heard is wonderful. Where I come from we eat little lobster which we call crawfish. What I have always found on the ships is the lobster is a little tough. Guess I'l have to schedule a New England cruise. Thanks Parrot Mom, I'm always looking for an excuse to cruise.

The problem is ships leaving from Boston DO NOT serve N.E. lobster, but there are enough restaurants near the Black Falcon Pier...to eat yourself silly.. BTW just had Maine lobster for $15.95....at the Weathervane in Kittery, Maine..

Outside St. John's on a trip last year found a lobster pound right opposite the cruise ships...steamers, etc. etc. It's just that the ships don't serve them.

if you ever get off the ship in Tortola, order an Anegada lobster. Blissful!
