Turks & Caicos, Puerto Rico or St. Martin?

Which location would you choose for best beaches, tropical atmosphere and less people?

Turks and Caicos for best beaches and less people, however, not really a tropical atmosphere as the island is very dry and not lush. Still, the lack of crowds and incredible beach makes up for it.

Absolutely agree with Turks and Caicos and the above poster. Provo is not touristy and no cruise ships. If you are looking for a relaxing laid back vacation Provo is the place.

Comfort Suites is not on the beach but in Ports of Call a small shopping plaza. It is about a 200 walk to the beach across the street. Don't know if they provide beach chairs and umbrellas. Have sen the suites and they are very nice. As I remember they have a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. If you are on a budget and not planning to spend a lot of time in the room it would be fine. There are about 5 restaurants within walking distance. Good sources of Provo info are www.wherewhenhow.com the on line magazine of the Turks and Caicos and www.adamsnames.tc--Click on Turks and Caicos and links for links to all sorts of info.

St. Maarten / St. Martin has what you are looking for in so far as beaches and tropical atmosphere, but it tends to be crowded with too much street traffic.

Puerto Rico is also crowded with lots of traffic (at least in San Juan).

How about Anguilla? It has all those qualities, and is a nice quiet place, as well. It's also VERY near St. Martin.
