Transportation between the Wyndham and Hamilton

Heading to the Wyndham in Bermuda for Labor Day Weekend. Is there any sort of transportation available between that area and downtown Hamilton? I know cabs are available but wondered if there was any sort of shuttle service or public transportation.

There is public bus service...
Taxis on Bermuda are VERY VERY expensive.
Most travel around by rented mopeds and there is a moped shop on the Wyndham property.

A taxi ride will run you around $25. Take the bus. I am a huge fan of Bermuda but not such a fan of the taxi service. During my recent visit I observed one cab driver threaten to fight another and one cab driver curse the manager of my hotel. I waited over an hour for a cab at Coco Reef. It never came and the hotel staff drove me back to my hotel in a personal car. Bermudians are generous lovely people and the behavior of the cab drivers was simply not in the spirit of Bermuda. I did write a letter to the Minister of Tourism but received no reply.

Take the bus!! It will stop right at the top of the hill by the Wyndam. You can confirm this with the hotel. It is safe and clean and CHEAP! There is also a ferry that runs from the other side of the Southhampton Fairmont. It is located almost across the street from the Wyndam and up the hill. Have fun!Bermuda is great!!

I agree take the bus, easy, safe and a good bargain. Mopeds are fun but I don't recommend them in Hamilton with traffic but great for the rest of the island.

I just returned from Bermuda. The bus was easy to use and very clean. The concierge at our hotel hekped us to figure out the fare system. It's a little tricky, but worth figuring out. The buses were clean and reliable. Have fun!
