My husband and I have been to Breezes in Curacao, but right before it became Breezes (about 2 yrs ago). It is a nice place to relax....the beach is beautiful, several pools and nice restaurant and bar. However, there wasn't much in the way of nightlife on the resort grounds.

Breezes is a 10 minute walk/2minute drive from Mambo/Seaquarium Beach which is a nice beach with several bars. We had the best time here. Especially on Sun afternoon, happy hour is a great big deal on this beach...people move from bar to bar as one happy hour ends and another begins.

There were a lot of younger people on the island. Since it is Dutch, there are a lot of Dutch people living/vacationing here. Also, it is a big vacation spot for S. Americans. Lots of beautiful people...the beaches are for the most part topless, so if that bothers you, don't go. Of course, it is no problem if you don't take your top off.

I think it would be fine for spring break. I have been to Cancun during Spring Break and I think Curacao was even more fun than that. Not so crowded that you can't move around, but still lots of people to meet. (We are in our early 30's and still like a good party).

I have been to Curacao often, and while maybe not the best person to ask (we go with children) I know that the beaches mentioned before (Mambo and Seaquarium) are great fun, with happy hours, lots of young people. There is a lot of nightlife on the island, with parties at "landhuizen" (former colonial houses and mansions). There are a lot of Dutch people there; they're usually very friendly and like to party. If you decide to go, just go to Mambo (very close to the hotel) and ask the people you meet there about nightlife. There seems to be a weekly round of happy hours on Curacao; a different venue for drinks every day.

We went to Breezes last November for thanksgiving. I would say it is a family resort with activities aimed for children and their families. My then 15 and 13 year old felt they were a little old for the activities, but enjoyed vegging at the pool. They did enjoy the trapeze. I think you are going to find alot of families there!! The hotel is walking distance to the seaquariam and we did go swimming with dolphins which was amazing. Food was just ok for an all inclusive. We had a much better time at the moon palace hotel in cancun (off the strip on the myan riveria). It's an all inclusive and it was amazing!!! My kids still talk about it. It is a absolutely beautiful property with an amazing pool and lots of activities. Lots of people in your age bracket.
