Places to stay in Cayman Islands?

Any suggestions on where to stay in the caymans? Would prefer a condo type place with kitchen, two bedrooms, on the beach. Thanks.

Highly recommend Villas of the Galleon. On a great stretch of beach on central 7MB. They are re-opening in Feb from the hurricane.

See many pics in my online album...

Another good option is Plantana.

Your post is very general, and there are a ton of options that would satisfy your needs. www.caymanvacations.com should help narrow your search quite a bit. You need to decide on a couple of big factors such as price, and location. I know you said on the beach, but where on the beach....It's 5-6 miles longe full of resorts. Some are close to the action & conjestion, while others are more remote. You also have the choice of being on a less popular beach by choosing the eastern end of the island which is more isolated. The site listed above will answer a lot of questions.

Hope this helps.

We stayed at Turtle Nest Inn and loved it. The maids would do our dishes everyday (including baby bottles!) The beach there is a reef, so it is grassy, and the drive to town is about 10 to 15 minutes. But that allowed us easier access to the other side of the island. The rooms were great, had a full kitchen. I don't know if they have two bedroom ones or not.

And this is a great condo rental website:

www.vrbo.com

You deal with the actual owners of the properties.

are you wanting to stay in the hustle and bustle of 7MB, or do you want something more sedate, like the Northside?
