Is it warm enough in late April to sit on the beach?

We want to go late April but hear it is too cold. Is it particularly rainy? Can we sit on the beach? Thanks a million! June

You can sit on the beach in April, but it is too early for swimming. Bermuda is off the coast of North Carolina and has very similar seasons. I love visiting in April because the flowers are blooming, especially the gorgeous Bermuda lilies, and the crowds haven't started coming yet. Enjoy your stay.

April is gorgeous in Bermuda - although it's not swimming/water sports weather, cruise ships just starting to come in, so the island isn't inundated with tourists yet, perfect for exploring and walking. Have fun!

Beach sitting good, golfing good, shopping good, swimming not so good. Cmcfong is right -- think Carolina or Virginia weather.
