Grand Cayman-Suggestions
Hello- We are leaving for the Grand Cayman on Saturday and are wondering if anyone, especially folks who live on the Island, have any last minute suggestions? We are interested in umcrowded beaches away from the cruise ships that have good snorkeling. Barefoot beach as well as a beach near the Kaibo Yacht Club have been suggested. Can anyone suggest good restaurants that are not usually found by tourists. Finally, can someone recommend a good scuba operator(small Groups) as well a good snorkeling operator. We wanted to go on a 1/2 day snorkel trip on Sunday but are having a bit of trouble finding someone who will do it on a Sunday. Crosby EBanks has been recommended but we are having difficulty getting a hold of him. Thanks in advance for any responses to this post. Amy!!

Hi, we were there 2 weeks ago and had a fabulous time. We snorkeled and did stingray city with Captain Clinton Ebanks-through Charterboat Headquarters. He was fantastic and was great with my kids/very patient too. We loved the Naked Fish restaurant...We also snorkeled at Cemetary Beach and that was great too and not crowded at all for us. Good Luck!

We snorkeled with Captain Dexter and had a really great time. I believe there were only 14 people on the catamaran the day we went out. Check the cruise schedule before going, and go on a date when no ships are in.
Bella Capri is a rarely listed restaurant that we found very good if you are in the mood for Italian.
