My husband and myself are staying at the Bougainvillea early June. Are there any supermarkets near this hotel to buy Bread/milk/eggs on our arrival. We dont intend to self cater all meals, just breakfasts. Also are jackets required in restaurants and beach towels will we need to provide our own. vernie uk

Hi Vernie,
There is a good supermarket not too far from Bougainvillea, named "Big B" you will fing what ever you need for your meal catering from there.

Jackets are not required in restaurants, mostly elegantly casual, some maybe elegant. You can always make a call to whatever restaurant you plan to go to and get details of dress.

You asked if beach towels will be supplied from the hotel, I will check for you tomorrow and post the answer to you. If you or anyone has any questions about the island, i'll be glad to help. Email : [email protected]

You can get up to date and current news about Barbados in a free newsletter called "Discover Barbados"
at www.bajanshowcase.com/newsletter.html

Kelvin/Clifton

When you check into the Bougainvillea you'll be given a beach card -- one for each person in your party. When you go to the beach you trade the card for a towel (distributed from the Watersports Desk on the beach) When you want to trade to towel in for a drier one or a cleaner one you just repeat the process in reverse.
