Couples negril VS Couple swept away negril

What is the difference between the two. The prices seem similar. Which would everyone recomend. Or is the Sandals in Nergil better than both of the couples resorts?

Thanks for your help.

I have only been to Couples Negril, I know that Swept Away does not have TV's in the room, and I have heard they have more of an "active" resort for those heavy into sports...

Couples Negril is fantastic, so I am sure swept away is also...

Couples Negril for the better beach, although their both great resorts.

Don't waste your money with Sandals Negril. Has become very run down and the service is hit or miss. To read trip reports from the past year, go to wheretostay.com. That will show the difference between Couples Negril and Sandals Negril.

Enjoy!

Swept Away has a big sports/fitness complex. It is also located on the "main beach" (Long Bay aka the 7 mile beach) so you can walk to restaurants and live music and such. To do that from Couples, (which is on Bloody Bay, one bay to the north/east), you will need to take a cab (or walk a good way on the road then cut back to the beach).
