Beginners' snorkeling in Aruba

Hello All, I am headed to Aruba later this month - I've never been snorkeling and really want to try. Can you recommend some spots for a beginner - calm, shallow water, etc. Thanks!

Baby Beach. Calm, shallow water. Good snorkeling between the rocks.

De Palm Island. Huge parrot fish and calm clear water.

Both areas are where parents take their kids to snorkel because of the calm and shallow water.

I'm not keen on renting a car - is there a way to get to Baby Beach and De Palm Island by public transportation? Thanks!

When we went, we did an Island Jeep tour that included Baby Beach.
