There shouldn't be a problem at all with the weather in Antigua in Nov/Dec. It is one of the islands that gets very little rain.

We were married at Sandals Antigua and it was perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better weddingmoon. I am not one of those "Sandals Lovers" but this resort really has a great laid back and romantic charm to it. It has incredible landscaping, an amazing beach...and it's so peaceful and relaxing you can hear yourself breathe!! We have never enjoyed ourselves (or each other) more than on this vacation. There is plenty to do as far as land/water sports and at night they have entertainment (usually a steel drum band). They also have a beach party once a week. But what is so great is you can join in or do nothing at all! And the resort is like having your own Caribbean village to hang out in. We loved it!

And as far as the wedding, it couldn't have been more perfect. We had no stress what-so-ever. They took care of everything and it was SO beautiful. I can't really put the experience or the place into words to describe it well enough! We truly enjoyed it!

Congrats and enjoy where ever you choose to go! And if you have any other questions, or would like me to e-mail you pics, just let me know!

American is the only airline that will fly all the way there. Delta, and Continental will only go as far as a connection, then American and Cape Air will go from there. Any other questions like this I can help really fast and easy on as I am a travel agent and have our computer system up for any replys.

LIAT only has one nonstop flight a day from San Juan to Tortolla. Also as far as taking another airline to St. Thomas it depends on which city you are coming out of as that is limited as well if you want nonstop. If not it would be very inconvenient with all the stops, might as well just take the American.

Air Culebra, Liat and the American Eagle will get you to Tortola out of San Juan. Air St. Thomas will get you to Virgin Gorda. Watch for Caribbean Sun (part of Caribbean Star)which was scheduled to start Dec 15 between SJU and EIS - Hasn't announced a new start date since they didn't make the 15th. There are no direct flights yet other than going through San Juan.
Fly direct to St. Thomas and ferry from there but late arriving flights might have to overnight in St. Thomas.

Hi Stephen -

I would concentrate on the best deal to get you to either San Juan or St Thomas. Depending on your departure city, there are several airlines that fly to either or both (Cont'l, Delta, US Air, American to name some)

There are then several options to get you on to the BVI. As mentioned, there are a handful of small airlines that fly on to EIS from SJU or STT. Alternatively, you can ferry over from STT.

Best to concentrate the search on only SJU or STT. Once you begin searching for the complete trip to EIS you will be handcuffing yourself. Most airlines don't partner-up with the locals so they won't show a flight all the way to EIS as "available" but they'll sure fly you to SJU or STT.

Dave

Don't see anyone mentioning Sun Air out of SJU or STT. If you are hubbing in the southeast, American isn't the most convenient way to go inspite of American Eagle flying into EIS. Delta has non-stops from ATL to STT and Cape Air has excellent service to EIS.
