Victoria : best way to get to Butchart Gardens ?

We are stayiong at Magnolia Hotel and one day are going to visit B.G. What is the best way to get there ? We are 4 adults and will not have a car. I read somewhere that GrayLine used to run an Express Shuttle. Is it still in service ? What options do we have besides a taxi ? I like the pickup at the hotel, if possible, as I have trouble walking longer distances.

Any suggestions ? Thank you.

I was curious about this as it doesn't look like Gray Line is offering their shuttle this year.

It looks like a company called "Cruise Victoria" is offering Butchart Gardens tours with pickup at downtown hotels:

Or you can take the city bus:

I would also suggest calling the concierge at the Magnolia.

I was just in Victoria last week and visited the Buchart Gardens with "Cruise Victoria" the cost was $47.00 which included transportation to and from and your admission. They pick up at a variety of hotels and if yours isn't one of them, I'm sure it would be a just a quick and inexpensive cab ride to a pick up spot.

I'm not sure what Gray Line is running at the moment, but the bus depot is only about a block away from your hotel. Tour buses sit in front of the Empress Hotel, which is even closer. Or you could wander over to Douglas Street and catch a city bus at a bus stop.

Just thought I'd mention that, if anyone needed one, wheelchairs are available at Butchart's for a refundable deposit of $10.
