Niagra from Toronto

Hi There. We are traveling to Toronto in early June. We will be staying in
Toronto at the Hyatt, but want to spend some time at Niagra Falls. Will it be too far away to go back and forth a few times or do we really need a hotel near the falls? Thanks for your help.

Is the Hyatt downtown? It's probably a couple of hours drive from Toronto to Niagara (note the spelling, it's not Niagra). That depends on traffic of course, which can be a problem if there's construction.

As Susan says, it's about a two hour drive.. It's not too bad a drive..all highway. Just be sure to wait til after rush hour. Although you will be going in the opposite direction. Traffic may slow down in Oakville, but then should be ok.

Thanks. I think we have decided to stay at Niagra Falls for two days and then move to Toronto. I appreciate your responses!

Kendra - take a look at some of the other posts on Niagara Falls. There's lots of good advice on how to make the best of your time there (as well as getting the Adventure Pass).
