Hi y'all
I will arrive Singapore at 12:15AM in Late June and have 2 days there

1) What can I do between 12 AM until 3pm to check in a hotel? What is the means of transportation?

2) The next day is one full day in Singapore. Where should I NOT miss to visit? what is the means to get there. Thanks

If paying for 1 more night isn't a problem, just tell the hotel what time you'll arrive, check in and go to bed. What am I missing?

The airport is close to town, take a taxi to your hotel.

I'll let someone else tell you what not to miss. Not a question I ever know how to answer.

Well what do you actually like doing? There are lots of things to recommend, but give us a bit to work on ( why don't you see what things you fancy and then come back here for opinions)

There are several options for getting into town. I took the shuttle last time, not as expensive as a taxi but a bit slower.

If you don't want to pay for a full, extra night's stay, but would like to get a little sleep and a shower before exploring the city, you could check into one of the airside Changi Transit Hotels for a nap. We stayed in one for 6 hours during our stopover on the way to Borneo in February. The minimum booking period is 6 hours and then you pay for extra hours after that. It was very easy to find and check in, the room was clean and quite comfortable and the hot shower was great. Note that you would use this option before clearing Customs and picking up your luggage. The cost (for a single room) is about USD 60 for 6 hours and then about 13.50 per hour after that. The double room base cost is about $72.

For a free napping option, you could just go to one of the rest areas in the airport (and pay for a shower) but the nap area is less private.

You should also note there is a surcharge on taxis at that time.... They are still cheap however.

As others have pointed out, what there is to do in Singapore depends on your interests. Personally I like museums, temples, and gardens, so I will try to give you some ideas of how I may spend my time to help you think a bit more about it.

For your full day, I recommend a morning visit to the Singapore Botanic Gardens, which could be reached by MRT, bus, or taxi, depending on where you're staying. Don't miss out the Orchid Gardens located inside the main botanic gardens. Admission to the botanic gardens is free while the orchid gardens cost S$5. Spend a couple of hours there before heading to the Asian Civilizations Museum right on the riverfront. I consider this museum one of the finest in Asia. From here, you could grab lunch at Indochine next door or at one of the cafes on the other side of the river at Boat Quay. For something relaxing, you can take a cruise on the Singapore River. In the evening, head to Chinatown to browse the streets and alleyways, but don't miss the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, and if you have time, the Chinatown Heritage Center. There are plenty of places to eat dinner around here.

For the morning before your flight, head to Gardens by the Bay. Visit the Flower Dome and the Supertrees. If you have more time, check out the Cloud Forest too.

Hope this gives you some ideas, although it's hard to tailor suggestions to you without knowing your preferences.

I used to travel to Singapore a lot on business. The last time I was there a few years ago the MRT (metro / subway system) stooped running at midnight, so the only option to get to a hotel away from the airport when you arrive is taxi. You can check the MRT hours to see if that is still the case. Taxis are metered and the price is reasonable but there is the surcharge as noted above.

I completely second tripplanner001 recommendations of Singapore Botanic Gardens, Asian Civilizations Museum, walking along the river and into Chinatown. There are (were) several big hawker centers in Chinatown where you can sample various local food.

Also a wide variety of restaurants, music venues, and bars to be found along Clark Quay and Boat Quay, Singapore River. Good nightlife area. The casinos, not too far away, were under construction on my last trip, but they are there now if that is up your alley.

I prefer to reserve a hotel in the centre of the city for the day before the late-night plane arrival, letting the management know you will be checking in after midnight, which means the early hours of the next day. Many flights land late in Singapore so the hotel can cope. Then you will be set for your only full day of sightseeing.
